CSU scored two defensive TDs in the first quarter. True freshman Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, making his first career start with Clay Millen injured, looked skittish all night. Avery Morrow ran the ball well, but the complete imbalance meant CSU never really moved the ball with success.
But the final drive will at least make it a happy flight home. Fowler-Nicolosi finished for 78 yards and two interceptions. CSU finished with yards of offense after having just 72 in the first half. Morrow had rushing yards.
